Payment security:
We are PCI DSS compliant. All payment data is:
- Encrypted with 256-bit SSL
- Tokenized (replaced with a unique code that cannot be reversed)
- Stored only by our payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), not on our servers
Failed payments:
If your payment is declined:
- You will see an on-screen error message
- Your order will not be processed
- We do not automatically retry failed payments
- You may try again with a different card or payment method
Order cancellation before payment completes:
If you start checkout but do not complete payment, no charge occurs. We do not save abandoned carts.
Refunds (see also Return Policy):
Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. We cannot refund to a different card or account. Refund processing time:
- Credit/debit cards: 2–5 business days to appear on your statement
- PayPal: within 24 hours to your PayPal balance
- Shop Pay: same as credit card
Sales tax:
We collect sales tax in states where we have nexus (physical presence). Currently, this includes:
- The state where our fulfillment center is located
- Any state where we have employees or attend trade shows
Tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on your shipping address. Tax-exempt customers may email us with their tax-exempt certificate before ordering.
Currency and fees:
All prices are in United States Dollars (USD). Your bank may charge:
- Foreign transaction fees if you are outside the US (we have no control over these)
- Currency conversion fees if your account is not in USD
Gift cards:
Digital gift cards are available for purchase in fixed denominations. Gift cards:
- Never expire
- Can be used for any product
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Cannot be replaced if lost (treat like cash)
Promotional discounts and codes:
- One discount code per order
- Discount codes cannot be applied retroactively to already placed orders
- “Free shipping” codes apply only to Standard shipping, not Priority or Express
- Natureabreath reserves the right to cancel orders that abuse discount codes (e.g., multiple accounts, reseller activity)
Billing information accuracy:
You are responsible for providing accurate billing information. If your billing address does not match what your bank has on file, your payment may be declined. We will notify you by email if this happens.
